Edward Kellner, 91, of Ft. Myers, departed this life on March 26th after a brief illness. He was born June 3, 1923 in Baltimore, MD to Edward Kellner, Sr., and Mae Elizabeth (Wolf) Kellner. Ed retired to Cape Coral in 1980 after a long career with the Western Electric in Baltimore, MD. Ed was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army from 1943-1946.

Edward Kellner, 91, of Ft. Myers, departed this life on March 26th after a brief illness. He was born June 3, 1923 in Baltimore, MD to Edward Kellner, Sr., and Mae Elizabeth (Wolf) Kellner. Ed retired to Cape Coral in 1980 after a long career with the Western Electric in Baltimore, MD. Ed was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army from 1943-1946.
Ed was a longtime member of Life Church in Ft. Myers. He gave generously to missions and charitable projects around the world. Ed is survived by his son, Dr. Gary A. Kellner of Hamburg, NY, two grandchildren, Stephanie Michal Kellner and Ramsey Elliott Kellner; brother of Warren Kellner and Alfred Kellner, Ed was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth, his son, Mark Philip Kellner and by his parents. Visitation will be held TODAY, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Ft .Myers, FL 33913. A Celebration of Life Service will be held TODAY, Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lee Memorial Park.
